HOPE will be at Dawg Daze with our event: It’s a Cell! Please join us on September 28th between 9 AM and 12 PM for an interactive exhibit, a short presentation, and opportunities to learn more about HOPE’s mission.
We are excited to invite Micaela Romero, a researcher at UW, to talk about her research with bees and solitary confinement at 10:30 AM. Around her presentation, letters from incarcerated individuals will be hung around a scale model of a solitary confinement cell. This event is drop-in accessible, so please feel free to stop by at any time during the event’s duration to look at the exhibit and grab some free drinks.
